Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURIANNE BELISLE On October 3, 2005 our sister, Laurianne answered the final call of the God she had trusted during life. During her illness she was surrounded by the love and care of her family. She was born April 16, 1932 in St. Victor, SK. In 1938 she moved with the family to La Salle, MB where she started school. In 1939 the family moved to Elie, MB where she attended school at Norway No. 1. Later she was a boarder at Elie Convent as well as at St. Adolphe Convent. She started to work in Hospitals in the food departments: Tache, the Old Sanatorium, Health Science and 42 years at the Victoria Hospital. Through her life Laurianne enjoyed reading, movies, theatre, music and short trips. She was faithful to her friends and enjoyed visiting them. She was honest, discrete, non-judgemental and a reliable person. She had a sense of humour and enjoyed discussing any subject. She leaves to mourn her passing six brothers and four sisters, Real (Georgette), Guy (Bernice), Claude (Doreen), Viateur (Laura), Roger (Pauline), Joseph-Laval (Lynda), Sister Rose-Aimee, Sister Diane, Laurence Postnicks (Gunnar), Caroline Tetreault (Bob). Also left to cherish her memories are many nephew, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. She was predeceased by her father Lionel in 1985, her mother Liliane in 1995, a brother Gilles in 1994, a niece Paulette and a nephew Randy. We wish to thank her family and friends for the cards, flowers, visits during her illness. Our deep appreciation to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital for their devoted care. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary Cathedral, 353 St Mary's Ave. A private family interment will be held in Green Acres Cemetery at a later date.
