KATHLEEN ANGELA ROSE BEARDY (Blue Butterfly Woman) Red, Blue, Yellow, White, Green, Purple 1993 - 2005 Tragically on Saturday, October 1, 2005 in Winnipeg our beloved daughter Kathleen was called home to the lord at the age of 11 years. She is survived by her loving parents. Christina and Kelly Beardy; four sisters, Beverley Calvert (Cory), Nancy (John), Emma-Jane and Faith; two brothers, Julius and Kelly Jr.; nephew Baby Julius Beardy; and grandparents, Mary Sinclair and Maurice Traverse. Kathleen has numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends to mention. Kathleen was a very talented, smart, bright young woman. She enjoyed the company of her best friends, Cherise Kent, Jolene and Ashley Sinclair. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Julius and Alice Beardy; great-grandparents, Francis Sinclair and Walter Bird and Robert and Emma-Jane Traverse. Kathleen was born and raised in Winnipeg where she attended William Whyte School and it was there that she decided to participate in learning about the Aboriginal Culture, which she found was important to her. She also believed in the lord Jesus Christ as her personal saviour and creator of all creations. She touched the lives of so many people whom she became involved with and will be greatly missed by the many she knew. A Special Thank You going to the many people for their help and support. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, October 5 and Thursday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr with Brother Larry Laquette officiating. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel with Pastor Clarence Morse officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Clinton Lavessuar, Cory Calvert, Cherise Kent, Jolene Sinclair, Nelson Sinclair and Lawrence Guiboche. Dear baby, If only I knew that you were leaving, I would have said my goodbyes. Until that day we get to see each other again. We miss you and love you always baby girl.   • Awh , Kathleen cannot believe it's been this long already wow there are times when I break down and cry just thinking about the good old days we had at L.B.E and Kids Klub ,..Oh my goodness just miss you lots' been 11 years since you been gone :'( (crying face) ..   • I just wanted the family to know that this has affected me greatly. I am a single mother of three children and live and work in the community. I work for Ndinawe and I was an instrument in the spiritual fire that we maintained to help Kathleen's spirit find it's way to the creator so she wouldn't be alone. I think of her every day. I hope that you heal with guidance from your other children and with the strength from God.
