ANNE (ANNIE) WIELER (nee WIEBE) March 5, 1928 to October 4, 2005 We regret to announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother on October 4, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Anne was a devoted mother and grandmother who was passionately committed to her family. She was at peace in her final moments. Mom was born and raised in Greenland, MB to Agnes and Peter Wiebe. She was the 4th of 11th children. Mom is survived by her brothers and sisters, Ted (Dora), Nellie, Albert (Alma), Irma (Leonard), Viola (Jake), Edwin (Violet), Jake (Lily), Cornie (Velma), Lottie (Eugene) and Peter (Norma). Mom has many, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Agnes and Peter Wiebe and her brother-in-law, Ben Wohlgemuth. Mom married our Dad, Hank in 1955. She is survived by her 5 children; Joanne Douglas, Carol (Bob) Charbonneau, Robert (Donna) Weeler, Joyce Wieler, and Michael (Michelle) Wieler and her grandchildren; Patty Charbonneau, Byron and Jennifer Douglas, Tony and Heather Weeler and Michael's step children Colt and Beau. Mom will be remembered for her beautiful needlework creations. We can't remember a time when she wasn't planning some new project and we were always happy to be the recipient of a special handmade gift. Mom's grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She would always listen to the stories of their adventures and share the fun with them over and over as they repeated the stories at length. The family would like to thank the special visitors Mom received who took the time to stay with her when she needed them most. It was much appreciated. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB on Friday October 7 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association at 629 McDermot, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Arrangements by: Birchwood Funeral Chapel Steinbach and Winnipeg, MB 1-888-454-1030 or 1-204-346-1030
