Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (PEGGY) COWIE (nee MORTON) Peggy passed away September 21, 2005 at Riverview Centre, aged 86 years. Beloved mother and grandmother is survived by son Brian and daughter Rhonda, grandchildrten, two brothers, one sister. Born in Hitchin, England 1919, soon after settled in Gladsto ne, MB wih parents, graduated St. John's High School 1937, married Alex Cowie 1941. Moved with family to Long Beach, CA 1960. Returned to reside in Winnipeg 1970. Peggy was athletic, loved the outdoors, her love for animals was renowned, enjoyed swimming, snow skiing, ice/roller skating, camping, loved to read, watch old classics and listening to music. She will be remembered as an uncommonly loving, kind, humble, decent woman who gave affection, respect, encouragement, support. She will be sadly missed. Many thanks to staff at C2 Riverview and family friend Howard Lavitt for special care provided for past nine years. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services on Friday, October 14, 7:00 p.m. at Knysh, 1020 Main St.
