MARGARET WHITTAKER Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on October 6, 2005. Margaret was born September 5, 1923 to Irene and Ernest Sheidow. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, one sister, her baby son Jackie and son-in-law Ken. She leaves to mourn her passing her ever loving husband Hal; son Glenn; daughter Jill (Kent); grandchildren, Kirk (Tracey), Kelly (Pierre), Mark, Katie and Leah and great-grandchildren Madeleine, Nathan and Maya. Mom was devoted to her family and loved family gatherings. Marg and Hal were married July 20, 1946 and she was a loving and devoted wife for 59 years. Her church was very important in her life and she helped to keep it just so. She'll be missed by all her friends and especially the Skip-Bo Gang. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10 at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11 at Immanuel United Church, 755 Golspie St. at Kimberly Avenue. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Marg may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, R2L 1X3, or Alzheimers Society of Winnipeg, Unit 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3C 4G2.
