Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREGINA (MASON) COLLINS Peacefully on September 10, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, Regina passed away at the age of 94. Born in Winnipeg, she lived here nearly all of her life. Her business career included eighteen years as Chief Cashier and Assistant Accountant at the Fort Garry Hotel and twenty years as accountant in Larry Collins Agencies Ltd. Regina Collins was a Charter and Life Member, Past Worthy High Priestess and Past Watchman of Shepherds of Althea Shrine No. 2, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem; a Charter and Life Member of Sphinx Temple No. 11; Order of the Daughters of the Nile; a member of Patricia Chapter No. 8, of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Life Member of Ivy Rebekah Lodge and the Monarchist League of Canada. She sang with the Winnipeg Singing Seniors and enjoyed being a member of the Square Dancing Clubs. For many years she organized the bus trips to the Supreme Shrine conventions. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Collins in 1986; her father John Robert Mason at Vimy Ridge 1917; her mother Rebecca Mason Taylor; sisters, Winoma Mason, Ann Smith, Rebecca Kenner; brothers, Albert and John Robert Mason. She will be sadly missed by her sister Margaret Smith and nieces Bertha (Smith) Warner of Calgary, Carol (Kenner) and Jim Hill of Boissevain and Patricia (Smith) and Ross Henderson of Enderby, BC. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held in the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, on Thursday October 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the chapel.
