Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELMA BEATON On Wednesday, October 5, 2005, with her family at her side, Elma Beaton, passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Elma was predeceased by her husband James; daughter Dale, brothers Peter and Robert, sister Ruby and parents Victoria and Peter Olson. She will be lovingly remembered by her family: son David, daughters Vicki (Brian) and Sharon (George); her sister Mable Hunnie; grandchildren Tommy, Andrew, Nicole (Tony), Joey, Carla, Cody, Greg, Cory , Brandon, Brady, Raelynn, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Elma was born on October 23, 1927 in Grand Marais, MB. She resided in Winnipeg for all of her adult life where she and husband James raised their family. She was employed at Canadian Linen Supply for over 25 years, retiring in 1993. The last few years she resided at the Maples Personal Care Home where she enjoyed activities such as bowling and playing bingo with her fellow residents. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the staff of the Maples Personal Care Home for providing a caring and comfortable atmosphere. The family would like to thank Dr. T. Fatoye and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care of Mom most recently. Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 11 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
