Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUSSELL JAMES KEYSER On Monday, October 3, 2005, Russell James Keyser passed away suddenly at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his brother Albert and brother-in-law Don Essery. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Eileen; three daughters, Brenda Keyser (Peter Murdock), Shelley Keyser (John Cormier) and Kim Keyser (Walter Borchenko); four grandchildren, Kalyn and Mackenzie Murdock, Jacob and Lucas Borchenko; one brother Lloyd (Teeny) and sister Bernice Essery; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Keyser and Bea (Ernie) Smith; brother-in-law Charles Ted (Marge) Hess; special cousins, Lola and Irwin Duvin Weisbrod and numerous nieces and nephews. After a brief career with Esso Oil, Russell volunteered to serve his country in the Royal Canadian Air Force in the Second World War. He re-enlisted after the war and retired after 23 years of service in 1968 with the rank of Warrant Officer. He then spent 15 years employed as a Federal Weights and Measures Inspector in Winnipeg and Regina. A private family interment was followed by a memorial service and reception on October 7 in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, Regina, SK. Donations may be made in Russell's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 2nd Ave., Regina, SK, S4R 1A5.
