IVIE RUTH RAINEY (nee WHITEie Ruth Rainey passed away on Monday, October 10, 2005 after a b) October 26, 1924 - October 10, 2005 Ivrave battle with cancer. She was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Ogilvie, MB. She is survived by her husband and best friend Thomas Rainey; daughters, Mariana, Patricia (Mark) Windeatt; grandchildren, Devin and Deanne; sister Marie White; and extended family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with reception to follow. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or Winnipeg Harvest, 1085 Winnipeg Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0S2. The family wishes to thank the people at CancerCare, Riverview and the Grace Hospice for all their care and compassion. Special thanks to the volunteer drivers and home care nurses, Doris and Sharon.
