ELEANOR PHYLLIS MILBRANDT (nee ANDERSON) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Eleanor, our mother, grandmother, friend and mentor, on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the age of 75, after a brief illness. Left to mourn her passing are her three children, Brenda (Rod), Diana (Jac) and Ron (Lynn); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacklyn, Jennifer, Erin, Matthew, Ryan (Claudine) and Jarrett; her brother David; brothers-in-law, Peter Shrier and Ralph Kubesh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence on December 6, 1985; her parents, Annie and Minto Anderson; and her sisters, Dorothy Shrier and Lillian Kubesh. Mom was born on April 4, 1930. She was raised in Ladywood, MB. She wed Dad in October 1948 and raised their family in North Kildonan where she resided for over 50 years. The family would like to extend special thanks to Mom's neighbours, Debra, John, Francis and Dennis and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital. Funeral service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15.
