MARIA MILES (ENGSTROM) (nee HIEBERT) Maria Miles (Engstrom) was born to Maria and Peter Hiebert in the farming community of Chortiz near Winkler, MB on November 26, 1927. She passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Golden West Centennial Lodge. Maria is survived by her sons, Terry (Sandi) Engstrom and Gordon Engstrom of Winnipeg. In addition Maria is survived by brothers, John (Kay) Hiebert of Nanaimo, Henry (Betty) Hiebert of Swift Current, Norman (Viv) Hiebert of Swift Current, Art (Ruby) Hiebert of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Mary Hiebert of Swift Current and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Maria was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Engstrom and Reginald Miles; parents Peter and Maria Hiebert; brothers, Peter, Abe, Jacob; sister Tina Atkinson and brother-in-law Bob Atkinson. The family would like to thank the staff at Rimmer House of Lions Manor and the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for the loving care provided to Maria during her time there. A private family service was held. Maria was laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Rest in Peace Mom, You will always remain in our hearts.
