IRMGARD CHRISTINA CSENGODY 1925 to 2005 With saddened hearts, her family announce the passing of Irmgard Christina Csengody at Concordia Hospital on the morning of Thanksgiving day, October 10, 2005. Irmgard was born in Niederlahnstein, Germany to Wendelin and Christina Nelius on April 12, 1925 and was the eldest of six siblings. Irmgard was predeceased by her loving husband Victor, her mother and father, sister Anna Lise and brothers Joseph, Ferdinand, and Wendelin. She will always be lovingly remembered by her family in Winnipeg, her only son Peter and wife Irene, grandsons Troy and Evan. She will also be sadly missed by her dear and closest best friend in Germany, Bernhard Zimmermann and his immediate family Ingrid (Julia, Linda and Matius) and brother Reinhold (Erika). Mom also enjoyed a special bond with her nephew Lothar Nelius (Jutta and son) during her many visits to Germany. Her family expresses our deepest appreciation to everyone at Concordia Hospital (3rd floor west) who cared for Irmgard through her illness with a special thanks going to Ron, Valerie, Grant and Michelle. There will be a service to celebrate the life of Irmgard Csengody on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Rd., followed by a reception. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will occur at a later date. Love you forever, As long as I'm living my Mother you'll be.
