Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFERDINANDE (FERN) AIME It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Ferdinande (Fern) Aime. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 13, 2005 at St. Boniface Hospital. Fern was born on January 25, 1908 in Saskatchewan where she lived most of her life. She moved to Winnipeg in 1994 and enjoyed many hours of socializing and playing cards with her friends in Oakland Gardens. She will be sadly missed by her children, Marie Jose Aime, Henri (Madeleine) Aime, Cecile Aime, Mia (Ed) Tuason, Lise (Lawrence) Recksiedler and her grandchildren, Anik (Brad), Nina (Lloyd), Annie (Nicholas), Tina (Andy), Eric, Ian and her great-granddaughter Annalee. Fern enjoyed the numerous visits from her children and grandchildren and was always ready to play a game of cards or Tile Rummy with them. Fern was predeceased by her husband Andre in 1973 and by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene (Albertine) and Fernand (Martha) and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Irma (Alphonse) and Emilia (John). A funeral mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17 with viewing before the service. Interment to follow later in Saskatchewan. If friends so desire, donations may be made in her memory to the Holy Redeemer Parish, 260 Donwood Dr., Winnipeg, MB, R2G 0W5 in her honour.
