AMELIA (MOLLY) MCMILLAN Peacefully at the Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, Molly went home to her Lord six days before her ninetieth birthday. She was predeceased by her parents, John Henry and Maria Bernhard; her husband Russell in February 1984; her son Bryan in February of this year; brothers, Henry and Godfrey; and sisters, Susie, Mary and Ann. She is lovingly remembered by her son Jim and wife Cheryl; grandsons, Dave (Lori), Darren (LeAnne), and Rob (Nicole); great-grandchildren, Karly, Shayla, Ryan, Riley and Cameron; sister Kay Hendricks; and nieces and nephews. Molly was a faithful employee with Perth's for many years. She was a woman of courage who cared for her ailing husband for fourteen years of his illness. Her love for animals was legendary, as she pampered her dogs and cats, and the neighbourhood ones as well. Gardening and sports were her passions. She was an avid spectator and enjoyed her years of curling. She was a founding member of Grace Lutheran Church. She treasured her times at Grace's Senior's club and also attended the senior's club at St. Joseph's Church where she made many friends. Molly struggled with Alzheimers, but again showed courage and cheerfulness during her illness. We want to thank the staff and volunteers of Bethania for their tender loving care of Mom. You are all so appreciated! Memorial service will be held on Monday, October 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Ave. Private interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6 or a charity of one's choice. FRIENDS FUNERAL SERVICE 339-5555
