Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySYLVIA SALLEE (SHALAY nee KICENKO) 1908 - 2005 Sylvia Sallee passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the age of 96, just one day before her 97th birthday. Sylvia was born in Winnipeg on October 13, 1908 and moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1929. She was employed with the J.L. Hudson department store until her retirement in 1973. Sylvia returned to Winnipeg a few years later and was a resident at the Holy Family Personal Care Home for the past ten years. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Williard in 1955; sisters Anne Hancox and Jean Newcross; brothers Michael and Peter Kesanko. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home for their loving care and friendship. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., with Fr. Michael Winn officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
