Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT EDWARD SAWYER 1924 - 2005 Ed passed away suddenly at the Deer Lodge Centre on October 16, 2005. Ed is survived by his sister, Grace (Dean) Hubbard of Arizona; brothers Don (Mary) Sawyer of Creston, BC and David (Judy) Sawyer of Winnipeg; and by his special friend Jessie Sawyer. Also brother-in-law Ernie Driver and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his father in 1944; his mother in 1975; and his sister Georgina Ruth in 2003. He was a veteran of the Second World War and Korea and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #81, also the Korean Veterans Association. Thanks to all the staff at Deer Lodge Centre, especially the doctors and staff and Chaplain Glen Krentz on T5. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at the Deer Lodge Centre on Saturday, October 22, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
