ALMA RICHARD It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Suddenly on October 16, 2005, with her family by her side, Mom was called to be with our Creator. Mom was born on April 9, 1927 at Oak Point, MB. Alma was predeceased by her parents; three sisters; three brothers; her beloved husband Joseph Paul Richard (1999); granddaughters, Rachel and Monique; and her special friend Mabel Sveistrup of Ashern, MB. Alma leaves to cherish her memory sons, Henry Chartrand, Don Richard (Mildred), Chris Richard and their loving dog (Baby); daughters, Elsie Sveistrup (Roy), Doreen Kemash (Ted), Shirley Westfall (Cliff); grandchildren, Melanie (Jeff), Dawn Menzie, Justin Richard (Gloria), Wade Westfall, Darryl Westfall (Kara), Cory Kemash (Faith), Kevin Chartrand (Karen), Calvin Chartrand (Krista); plus ten great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and dear friends. Prayers will be held on Friday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Inwood. Interment will follow at the Notre Dame Cemetery, Oak Point.
