Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL INA BARTON (nee KINGSLEY) 1948 - 2005 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ethel Ina Barton, wife, mother and friend. She passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, October 17, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre after a 12 year battle with scleroderma. Ethel was predeceased by her father, Robert, and her mother, Ina Kingsley. She is survived by her husband David, son Matthew, daughter Connie, brother Glen (Donna) Kingsley, sister Shirley (John) Sigurdson, brother-in-law David Hunter and many dear nephews and nieces. Born in Eriksdale, MB, she moved to Winnipeg after graduation where she completed her B.A. at the University of Winnipeg. She loved camping trips, gardening and was an avid writer, but her greatest enjoyment was doing things with her family and many friends. Her quiet strength and humour made her a joy to be around and her loving demeanour will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. Reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Kidney Foundation, 730 Taylor Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3M 2K8.
