KATHLEEN ULLELAND (CUNNINGHAM)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN ULLELAND (nee CUNNINGHAM) Passed away at Middlechurch Home on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 95 years, formerly of the Westhaven in St. James. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred J. in December 1989. Kathleen leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Dyrlie, son-in-law Arthur and grandson Blake. She is also survived by her sisters, Molly Walden of Richmond, BC, and Maude Grassick of Weyburn, SK; nieces, Karen (Rick) Smith and Lynn Taunton; nephews, Cory Cunningham, Thorn Walden, Terry Chapman and Jay and Bill Cathcart. She was also predeceased by her brother Ernie (Bess) Cunningham; sister Myrtle (Bob) Cathcart; brother-in-law Art (Ada) Ulleland and sisters-in-law Stella (Russ) Blood and Gyda (Cliff) McKinnon. Kathleen (Kae) was born in Yellow Grass, SK on October 23, 1909. Kae taught school in southern Saskatchewan during the depression years. She moved to Winnipeg in 1936 to work at the T. Eaton Co. Kae and Bill were married on May 6, 1942. She was a choir member at Augustine United, Knox United and lastly Deer Lodge United Church, as well a member of Unit 6. The family thanks the staff of Middlechurch Home for their consideration and care over the last five years. Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2005 at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Dr., with a reception following. Cremation and private family interment will precede the service. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Kae may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Winnipeg or CancerCare Manitoba.
