Il laisse dans le deuil, outre son epouse Ghislaine (nee Gobeil), son fils Michel (son epouse Angele et ses deux petits-fils Damien et Danton), sa fille Annique (son epoux Jean-Philippe Daoust), autres parents ainsi que plusieurs amis. Les prieres pour le repos de son ame auront lieu le lundi 24 octobre 2005 a 19h00, au Salon mortuaire Desjardins, 357 rue Des Meurons. Le service funebre aura lieu le mardi 25 octobre a 14h00 en l'eglise Saint-Pierre Jolys. La famille du defunt apprecierait des dons a l'Association Canadienne du Diabete au 522 University Ave., Suite 1400, Toronto, ON M5G 2R5 (1-800-226-8464). BERNARD LAVERGNE December 15 1937 - October 16 2005 It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Bernie Lavergne. Bernie will be missed tremendously by his wife Ghislaine (Gobeil), his son Michel (his wife Angele and his two grandsons, Damien and Danton), his daughter Annique (her husband Jean-Philippe Daoust), the members of his family, his wife's family, as well as friends. Prayers will be held at the Desjardins Funeral Home on Monday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 25 at the St-Pierre Jolys Church at 2:00 p.m. Bernie's family would greatly appreciate donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association at 522 University Ave., Suite 1400, Toronto, ON M5G 2R5 (1-800-226-8464). Je viens de lire dans la Libetté le fait que ton papa est décédé. Je veux t'offrir mes sincéeres sympathies et j'espère que tout va bien malgré cette peine. Bernie was a joker, he was a faithful friend ALWAYS there to help, he was a deep lover of life. He was always having a good time and every breath he took seemed to just make him happier. Just by being his loveable self, Bernie gave us the gift of laughter and joy. Sadly for all those who knew him, he is now gone forever, but, on the same token, luckily for us all, his gift lives on. Annique, I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. He was a great person, I remember whenever I would be over at your place he was always funny and joking around. I'll always remember the time he made us garlic and butter spaghetti, it was simple but very delicious. Take care....you are in my thoughts!
