Sigrid was born in Saskatchewan on December 11, 1916. She made her home in Winnipeg and worked for the Hudson Bay Company for many happy years before retiring. She also had a great appreciation for words such as a finely turned phrase and a good crossword puzzle. The family would like to thank all the staff at St. Boniface General Hospital who cared for her, especially the staff of 6A Medicine, Dr. Marcelo Garcia (Palliative Care), Dr. Marianne Krahn and Bonnie Johnson (Oncology). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
