Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY KOSIE Peacefully, with his family by his side, Harry Kosie passed away on October 18, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Harry was born in Fisher Branch, MB on June 24, 1918. He is survived by his wife Alice (Vandersteen); sister Stella; and brother John (Jean); children, Cathie (Darren), Michael, Patsy (Curtis), Peter (Nancy), Eileen (Ted), Doreen (Henry), and Richard; as well as grandchildren, Doug, Tricia, Ian, Colin, Stuart, Andrew, Sean, Chad, Sandra, Sarah, and Max. Harry was predeceased by his parents, Michael Kosie and Fedora Sawka, both from the Ukraine; sisters, Olga, and Jean; brothers, Walter, Peter, Stanley, Steve, and Bill. Harry was a dedicated and hardworking carpenter (foreman) for A. Rebiffe Construction, and Sandor Construction. He was a proud war veteran serving as a Private and Lieutenant from 1941-1946. Harry enjoyed many outdoor pursuits, including fishing, hunting, gardening, nature walks, and time at the lake with his family. The family would like to gratefully acknowledge and thank the staff at Tache Nursing Centre for the care he received, especially, during his final days. In lieu of flowers mass offerings would be appreciated or a donation in his name to the Alzheimer's Society. God grant him eternal rest. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 24, 2005 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
