Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIUS PHILIPPE ISAIE CHARTRAND 1913 - 2005 Peacefully on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Tache Nursing Centre, at the age of 92 years, Marius left us to join his Heavenly Father. Predeceased by his wife, Mildred in 1995; his parents, Jean Baptiste and Alexina Legault, his siblings: Aldiana, Antoine, Anne-Marie, Blanche, Jeanne, Laurette, Gertrude, John, Cecile, Elzeard and Emanuila. Marius will be lovingly remembered by his children, Maurice of Balcarres, SK; Margaret; Lucy (Ron) and children, George, Pamela, Nicole and Michelle, Ted and children, Raymond and Randy all of Winnipeg; and Grace (Perry) of Lebret, SK and children, John Henry, Jeremy, Dustin and Jody, as well as numerous relatives. Marius came to Winnipeg in 1947 from Prince Albert and worked at St. Amant Centre as the elevator operator. He met and married Mildred in 1952. He will be remembered as the elevator operator at Tache as well. He loved to sing and played the violin, accordion and harmonica. We thank his special nephew George Grenier for all his loving care over the years. We would also like to thank the staff at Tache Nursing Centre for looking after Dad for the last 9 years - you are all very special people! A celebration of Dad's life will be held on Monday, October 24 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. at 10:30 a.m. Interment of his cremated remains will follow. My mom, along with the both of us, are so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I always remember your Dad and his love of gardening and riding his bike.
