BEATRICE HAMEL (nee FARMER) It is with sorrow we announce the passing of Beatrice Hamel, 87 years, on October 21, 2005 at the Grace Hospital. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Edward Josef, her brothers, Wilfred and Joseph, and her sisters, Margaret and Trudy. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her only son, Terie and his wife Susan, granddaughter, Amy and grandson, Jesse. Her grandchildren brought her much joy in her life. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Beatrice was born and lived on Beverley Street in Winnipeg, moving to Collegiate Street in St. James with her husband Edward after their marriage in 1945. Together they shared a long and happy life together and were active in the St. James bowling leagues. Bea resided at the Kiwanis Courts on Ness her last few years before moving to the Charleswood Care Centre in November 2004. We wish to thank all the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre and Grace Hospital for their care and support over the past difficult year as Mom's health failed. Cremation has taken place and as per her wish, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to a charity of their choosing.
