MARY SNEZYK (nee SOLINSKI) It is with sadness that the family regrets to announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Mary Snezyk, on Friday, October 21, 2005 at the Concordia Personal Care Home, at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her husband Joe; son Richard; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her two sons, Bernie (Susan) and Jerry (Linda); daughter Judy (Tony) and daughter-in-law Gail (Brian); eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was an endearing person who wore her heart on her sleeve. Her greatest love was her family, followed closely by her friends. She tried to show all her new acquaintances a special friendship. She will be greatly missed. Viewing will be held Monday, October 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, St. Andrew Bobola, 541 Marion St., with Father Jan Spyrka celebrant. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chris Cooke, Adam Snezyk, Garth Snezyk, Mike Penner, Gary Lucko and Eddy Bezdzietny. The family wishes to extend thanks to all those involved in providing excellent care and comfort to Mary over the past two years during her stay at Misericordia and Concordia Personal Care Homes. A special thanks to Chaplain John Friesen for his care and devotion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
