JAMES ARNOLD JAMIESON It is with deep sadness that the family of Jim Jamieson announces his death on October 22, 2005 at Georgetown Hospital after struggling courageously with emphysema for many years. He was the best friend and beloved husband of Pauline (Wells) for 54 years, loving father of Garth (Laurie) and Brian (Jody) of Winnipeg, Gail Aiken (Reed) of Milton and Susan Logan of Georgetown and much loved and admired grandfather of Robin and Erin Jamieson, Kyle and Kayla Logan and Jack Jamieson. He is also survived by his loving sister Muriel Butts of Oregon, brother-in-law Victor (Audrey) Wells and several nieces and nephews. Jim was born at McAuley, MB in 1925, was a Navy veteran of the Second World War and was an employee of Air Canada for years. At Jim's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at J. S. Jones Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown, ON, on October 25 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the Trafalgar Room.
