GREGORY MARTIN DERKSEN September 7, 1949 - October 20, 2005 Suddenly on October 20, 2005 we lost the man we loved Gregory Martin Derksen. He was a loyal employee at the City of Winnipeg for the last 18 years. Gregg made friends wherever he went. He lived life to the fullest and was liked by all who knew him. He enjoyed playing crib and cards especially with his good friend Linda. He also enjoyed Saturday bingo nights with his sister-in-law and nieces. Gregg will be sadly missed by his loving wife Georgia; children, Robert, Danielle (Rob), Tammy (Glen), Cindy (Mark), Marcia, Tonya (Fred), Rob (Kim), William (Amanda); mother-in-law Doreen Aitken from Fort Erie, ON; as well as his many grandchildren and three dogs, Flower, Shadow and Rain. Gregg was predeceased by his mother Mary Brown. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 28 at Riverwood Church Community, 257 Riverton Ave. Officiating, Pastor Trevor Hutchings. We've shared our lives these many years, You've held my hand; You've held my heart. So many blessings, so few tears, Yet for a moment, we must part. The memories you've given me, Are times I've shared with my best friend. I'll hold them Love; Right here they'll be, Until we share our lives again.
