MARY WILLISON (CURRY, SCHMEICHEL) (nee NOBLE) Mary Willison passed away on October 20, 2005 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents Alf and Kay Noble. She is survived by her husband Gordon Willison; brother Dene (Gwynne) and many nieces and nephews from Calgary; her daughter Brenda (Christopher); sons, David (Barb), Chris, Shawn (Julie) and Paul (Twyla). Also surviving are her grandchildren, Damien (Amber), Jeremiah (Samantha), Michael J. (Vicki), Anne Marie, Emma, Michael D., Alexis, Malek, Jada, Shayden, Dominic, Aurora and Dreiden. Mary enjoyed sports. She was involved in track and field and basketball at Kelvin High School. She was an accomplished swimmer and diver. Later in life, she enjoyed golfing and curling. She loved music and was a great dancer. She studied the violin and completed her Grade VIII piano. She loved people and enjoyed socializing. She made friends with everybody. She had many unofficially adopted children who knew her as 'Mum'. She knitted mitts, hats and scarves and donated them for children in need. She is loved and missed by her husband, children, family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 28 at 10:00 a.m.in the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.
