JENNY CATHERINE (NENA) BADALI (nee CARRELLI) Peacefully, with her family by her side, Jenny passed away at Park Manor Personal Care Home in Transcona at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her husband Gus Badali in 1979; parents, Anthony and Angelina Carrelli; sister Victoria Maruca and brothers, Frank and Albert Carrelli. She is lovingly remembered by daughter Bernice and son-in-law Jack Herd, sister Lucy Blair; grandchildren, Laurie Herd, Jeff Herd (Stephanie Rouet), Cathie Herd (John Denomme), Mary Herd (Bill Redekop), Anthony Herd, Clare Macsymetz (Russ), Karen Herd (Ken Mytruk); great-grandchildren, Sarah and David Albo, Maeva and Shani Rouet-Herd, Ethan Redekop, Tim, Jacob, Katie Herd, Stephen and Kelsey Macsymetz, Adam and Kyle Mytruk. Jenny was born in Winnipeg and lived here all her live. She worked at Eaton's Mail Order until her marriage in 1929. She was a life long member of the Catholic Women's League. Our most heartfelt thanks to the staff at Park Manor for their excellent, kind, and compassionate care during Jenny's 15 month stay. God Bless you all. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 28, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) in the Holy Rosary Parish Church, 510 River Ave. Family interment will take place at the St. Mary's Cemetery, Osborne Street. Pallbearers will be Jeff Herd, Anthony Herd, Bill Redekop, John Denomme, Russ Macsymetz and Ken Mytruk. Flowers gratefully declined. Friends may donate to the Heart Stroke Foundation of MB, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB. R3L 0K6 or to a charity of one's choice.
