MELANIE FERRIS (nee LEHELLOCO) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Melanie passed away October 22, 2005 at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Mary Dudek (John) of Winnipeg, Lila Krawec of Vidir; her sons, George (Madeline) of Fisher Branch, John (Debra) of Hodgson, Albert of Fisher Branch, Ferris (Leslie) of Regina, SK. Melanie was predeceased by her husband Alec Ferris, October 16, 1978 and daughter Margaret Ferris, June 7, 1993. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Phillips Church in Hodgson, MB. Viewing from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Rev. Barry Bear and Rev. Wesley Barrett will be officiating the service. Pallbearers are her grandsons, honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters and Darryl Dudek. Special thanks to the staff and nurses for taking care of our mother. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
