LARRY NEIL PATTERSON January 3, 1940 - October 21, 2005 Peacefully on October 21, 2005, Larry passed away at the Boundary Trails Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Larry grew up and worked on the family farm for a number of years before moving into Morden where he met and married his wife, Charity. They moved to Penticton, BC, where he welded and repaired semi trailers for a few years and then returned to live in Morden for the last few years of his life. Larry leaves his loving wife Charity; stepson Walter (Betty); and stepdaughters Doreen (Jake) and Joyce (Mike); and grandchildren Michelle and Alaina. He is also survived by his brother Douglas; and sisters Audrey, Ida (Bill), Sylvia (Dave), Gloria (Don) and Sandra (Marcel); his nieces Tracie, Lisa, Shelley, Mandy; and nephews Russell, Kevin, Robbie and Jamie who all have fond memories of their uncle Larry; also his Aunt Myrtle Patterson and Aunt Belle Kallwies; and numerous cousins. His parents Robert and Estelle (Beddall) Patterson and niece Kimberley Kerr predeceased him. A memorial service will be held at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 709 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, on October 30, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Martha McDowell officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C OS6.
