RUBY CHAFETZ (nee DIVINSKY) On Wednesday, October 26, 2005, in her 86th year in Montreal. Beloved wife of the late Phil. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Adele and Marvin Orleans of Montreal, Connie and John Wiseman of Montreal, Israel and Anita Chafetz of Vancouver. Adoring bubby Ruby of Dana Orleans Melnick and Rob Melnick, Stephanie Orleans, and loving grandma Ruby of Hannah Chafetz. Sister and sister-in-law of Paul and Carla Divinsky. Sister-in-law of the late Rose Chafetz and the late Gordon Chafetz. Treasured friend of Susan Perles De Pierro and Ralph De Pierro. The family would like to thank those at Mt. Sinai Hospital who played a special role in helping her overcome extraordinary challenges. Our gratitude to Dr. Mark Rabinovitch and Dr. Linda Klein. Funeral service at Congregation Etz Chayim, 123 Matheson Ave., Winnipeg, on Sunday, October 30 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Rosh Pina Memorial Park Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB.
