MARJORIE ELIZABETH LIVESLEY Peacefully on October 25, 2005, at the Fort Garry Care Center, Marjorie Livesley passed away at the age of 99 years, just 5 weeks short of her 100th birthday. Marjorie was born on December 2, 1905 in Gorrie, ON. She moved to Winnipeg as a young girl with her parents and five siblings. She attended Kelvin High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Clare Livesley, with whom she shared more than 50 wonderful years of marriage. They were blessed in 1932 with their only daughter, Joan. Marjorie was a vibrant, resilient, fun loving woman who was devoted to her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed. Up into her early nineties she was always on the go with many interests. In later years she enjoyed time spent visiting with family and friends and playing as much bridge as she could at her home in Silverview Estates. She will be sadly missed by her grandson Todd Brown, wife Nancy and their sons Hayden and Lyle of Calgary, AB; and granddaughter Nancy Brown; sons Graham and Taylor of Winnipeg; son-in-law Murray Brown; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clare, in 1980; and her daughter Joan Brown in 2003. The family is extremely appreciative and thankful for the wonderful care she received over the past two years at the Fort Garry Care Center and prior to that in her home from the WRHA Home Care team. A private family graveside service will be held. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 BROADWAY 783-7211
