WILLEM (WIM) VAN HUIT November 28, 1955 - October 24, 2005 It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved son, brother, and uncle Willem Van Huit on Monday, October 24, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Wim was predeceased by his sister Yolanda in 1993. Wim leaves to cherish his many memories, his parents Henri and Johanna Van Huit, brothers Frank, Robert (Tracey), Trevor, sisters Tanya and Jennifer, nephew Tristan, niece Ashley, special friends Jason (Heather), Nicole, Ralph, (Sandy), Dale and Brenda, as well as all his other friends that supported Wim throughout his life. Wim was employed with Jeld-Wyn Windows for many years. When he was not working he could be found enjoying his favorite past times fishing, camping, cycling, and racing his remote control cars. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with a viewing half hour prior to the service. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. The family would like to express sincere thanks to Wim's friends Jason, Heather and Nicole and the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital for their help and support shown during his illness.
