Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRETA VICTORIA HUGHES (nee BERGLUND) Peacefully on October 26, 2005 at the Golden West Centennial Lodge, Greta passed away at the age of 86 years with her daughter by her side. Greta was predeceased by her husband Sydney James, her sister Lily and Sonja and her sister-in-law Mary. She is survived by her daughter Sandy (Gerry) Emmons; son John (Minda); sister Bea Beatch and brother Lenart Berglund of Vancouver; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at the Golden West Centennial Lodge for their kindness and care. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Greta's memory to a charity of one's choice.
