FATHER BILL BOCHAR Peacefully in his sleep on Friday, October 28, 2005, Father Bill the chancellor of Toronto and Eastern Canada for the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy, former associate pastor of St. Demetrius Church and retired 33 year teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Dearly beloved husband for 38 years to Helen Bochar. Beloved father of Wolfgang-Aaron and his wife Laura and Maara and her husband Michael La Rosa. Loving Dido of Katherine and Gabrielle. Dear son-in-law of Rosalia Laciuk. Dear brother of Paul and his wife Claire Bochar and brother-in-law of Stella and Hal Steadman. Uncle of Martin, Yvette, Matthew and Sue. Cousin of Marvin and Stella Chomiak and their children, Robert and Stefan. Fondly remembered by his family in Western Canada and many friends. Resting at St. Demetrius Church, 135 La Rose Ave., Toronto from 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 31. Panakhyda Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1, 7:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy Wednesday, November 2 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Demetrius Church , 135 La Rose Ave., Toronto. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family. (The family will receive their friends at St. Demetrius Church from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, October 31 and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1). Not sure if its the same Bill Bochsr I taught with a Bill at JJ McGrans UN late 60s and left my case with him for safekeeping. It had all sorts of personal stuff which I never retrieved as I never returned from England. Bull was a Good Guy and I cried in my last day. Rest in Peace Bill. Robert - Posted by: Robert.
