KAREN BRIAND January 6, 1948 - October 27, 2005 It is with deep regret that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Karen on October 27, 2005 at the St. Boniface hospital at the age of 57 following a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Roger of 33 years; daughters, Nicole (Briand) Nicol, husband Bob of Winnipeg, and Natalie (Briand) Meade, husband Corey of Morinville, AB. She leaves her memory to two beautiful grandchildren, Tynan (Nicole and Bob) and Logan (Natalie and Corey); brothers, Wilson, Delbert and Norris and sister Valerie. Karen was an active member of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd in C.F.B. Winnipeg and will be sadly missed by the Chapel Ladies Guild and congregation, along with numerous friends and family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy and Holy Communion will be celebrated on Monday, October 31 at 10:00 a.m., also at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
