EMILY PEEL Peacefully, on Friday, October 28, 2005 at her residence, Emily Peel, aged 83 years, of Selkirk, beloved wife of the late Aubrey Peel. She was predeceased by her husband Aubrey; parents, Stefan and Rannveig Stefanson; brothers, Mundi, Johann, Gustav and Gisli Stefanson; and sisters, Anna Stefanson, Lovisa Jones and Lil Jonasson. She is survived by her nieces and nephews and her dear friend, Tina Arbez. Emily was born and raised in Selkirk, working as a telephone operator and a dental assistant for a number of years. She met and married Aubrey and they resided in Cloverdale. After Aubrey's death, she continued living on the farm, until recently moving into Selkirk. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Selkirk Evangelical Lutheran Church, 329 Clandeboye Ave., Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
