Berta was born on August 15, 1906 in Friedenstal, Bessarabien. Predeceased by her husband, Gotthilf. She leaves to mourn her children; Waltraut Banek, Gertrud (Gustav) Zolldannl, Ella (Paul) Souchamvalis, Heinz Banek, Paul (Frauke) Banek and Manfried Sr. (Hildegard) Banek; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Haett ich Fluegel haett ich Fluegel, Flaeg ich ueber. Tal + Huegel, Heute noch nach Fion hin. A funeral service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 2 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow. Pastor Bill Lehman officiating. Rest in Peace Mom.
