Sweetie to his loving wife Brenda and Big Brother to his loving sister Dolores (Ken). Don was predeceased by his father Willie on May 1, 1991 and his mother Germaine on November 5, 2001. To cherish his memory are Don's stepchildren, Sarah and Clint Kirk, to whom he was Daddy D ; his mother-in-law Chris Meyers; sisters-in-law, Lisa Magian (Mick and Aaron), Kristi Peters (LeRoy and Lexi); brother-in-law Dean Meyers (Suzanne, Grant, Derek and Haley); cousin and dear friend Gerald St. Godard; cousin Dennis Beaudette; close friends, Dale and Wilma Frandsen (Kyla and Ivan), Trent and Phyllis Pubanz (Samara and Keith and Gordie) and many more friends, relatives and business acquaintances too numerous to mention. We would also like to acknowledge his loyal employees at Big D's Welding in Stonewall, who were like family to Don. Don was born on December 16, 1958 in St. Jean Baptiste, MB. His heart, generosity, professional mannerism, innovative mind, loyalty, dedication and honest demeanour made him the man we will never forget. Sitting around the shop Friday afternoon (after 4:30), the ever more popular Christmas parties and more recently Big D's Annual Skeet Shoot, were just a few examples of the memorable times he shared with the people he loved. I have lost my very special brother, we were very close and there for each other. Big D was my foundation in life and I will miss that so tremendously. My family is all gone now and I feel very alone. I will miss my big pillar, My Big (little) Brother. I will do my best to do things in life the way they would have expected me to. The strength and love our family had for one another is going to be my salvation and my strength and my peace. Love you forever Donald, your sister Dolores - Posted by: Dolores St.Godard (Family) on: Nov 09, 2005

It is with a heavy heart that I say a fond farewell to a great friend and once "boss". Big D, you always made me and my wife Janet feel welcome and you introduced me to your wild, crazy pack of friends who where the type of friends for life. From the four wheel drive adventures with the FBI boys, to the xmas food fight at Dan Dee's. After all that you found love and happiness in the love of Brenda.God be with you now and I will truly miss your smile and I will have a club for you.
