ELSIE BUSS 1918 - 2005 On the morning of Sunday, October 30, 2005, Elsie Buss, aged 87, passed away peacefully at the Beausejour Hospital. She was born in Golden Bay, MB on August 27, 1918. Left to cherish Elsie's memory is daughter Hazel (Lorne); son Edwin (Dana Lee) and daughter Linda (Ron); as well as grandchildren, Pam (Russ), Jeff, Laura (Doug), Shaena and Chantel and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Eric, Matthew and Alyssa. She is also survived by sisters, Lydia, Ruth and Edna; brothers, Charles, Edward and Leo; as well as many nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law, Helena Hintz and Anna Buss. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Roy, parents, August and Albertina, siblings, Edith, Wanda, Arnold, and Alex. Elsie was a longtime member of the Zion Lutheran Church, served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and had been a member of the Beau-Head Seniors Club. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, lst Street N. and Gertrude Avenue, Beausejour with Pastor Hugh Laidlaw officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Viewing will take place at the church prior to the service, and on Wednesday, November 2 at the Sobering Funeral Chapel until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Beausejour Hospital, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0 or to a charity of your choice.
