Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN JONES Suddenly, on October 28, 2005, Jean Jones passed away in her apartment. Jean was born in Winnipeg, MB on May 26, 1936. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, June (Henry) Beaudry, Fran Spears and Betty Wilson of Winnipeg; her children, Valery Guy of Ste. She later married Garry Jones (deceased) and together they lived in both Winnipeg and Grand Marais, MB. Jean enjoyed hobbies such as oil painting and creating decorations and ornaments from wood and other materials. She loved to meet people and made friends quickly and easily. In earlier years, she worked at various different jobs, including Eaton's in Thunder Bay, ON and the Tax Centre in Winnipeg. It was Jean's wish that there be no funeral or service upon her passing. Instead, she preferred that friends and family gather together and celebrate her life. This gathering, will take place on Wednesday, November 2. Please call Bill at 453-8927 or Val at 299-2820 for details. Mom, Grandma, sister, auntie, friend... We love you and miss you dearly. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Jean was my favorite sister-in-law. I first met her when she was still a school girl. She was adorable in her short tunic and black stockings and her personality was a hundred times more adorable. Needless to say, I'm devastated by her loss and my heartfelt condolences go to all of her family. - Posted by: Bill Korolyk (Family) on: Nov 01, 2005
