Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALMA MARIE GIESBRECHT (nee WARKENTIN) 1917 - 2005 On Sunday, October 30, 2005, at Boundary Trails Health Center, Alma Giesbrecht, aged 88 years, of Winkler, formerly of the Roland district went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Beno Giesbrecht of Winkler; 2 daughters Shirley and Steve Blyseth of Minneapolis, USA and their two children Brent Blyseth of Memphis Tennesee, Rachel and T.J. Cornish of Minneapolis, daughter, Sharon Simpson of New Westminster, B.C.; 1 son Jack and Myrna Giesbrecht of Winkler and their three children Cora and Nathan Hoeppner of Winnipeg; Nick and Leanne Giesbrecht of Winkler and Kent Giesbrecht of Winkler; 2 great grandsons, Ethan and Mark Hoeppner; 1 sister, Lillian Hogman of Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by 1 sister and 1 brother in infancy. Funeral service will be on Thursday, November 3 at 10:30 am at the Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church, with Rev. Phillip Vallelly and Rev. John Wiebe officiating. Interment will follow at Winkler Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the M.C.C. Box 1774 Winkler, MB R6W 4B6.
