BRIAN MICHAEL MARCHAK
Born: Sep 17, 1961
Date of Passing: Oct 28, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN MICHAEL MARCHAK September 17, 1961 - October 28, 2005 It is with sadness that we announce the accidental passing of Brian Marchak, aged 44 years, of Polonia, MB and formerly of Narcisse, MB. Brian is predeceased by his brother Darrell and survived by his loving partner Dawn; parents Andrew and Elizabeth; brother Wayne; nephews Dwayne and Derek (Jennifer); niece Angie (Mike) and great-niece Alexis; sister Susan and father-in-law Paul; and numerous other family and friends. Brian was born in Winnipeg and later moved to Narcisse. It was growing up on the farm that Brian's love of the outdoors and all the animals big or small started. In 1990, Brian moved to Thompson where he met Dawn. Together, they made many friends there, spent many weekends fishing, and for five years owned their own autobody shop, which was Brian's dream. In 1999, they moved to Neepawa where they bought a farm in Polonia, as Brian always wished to be back on the farm. Brian had a unique sense of humour and loved to share a good laugh or prank. He loved spending his time outdoors doing the many things he enjoyed and yelling at the refs on Saturday night when the Leafs were losing! In keeping with Brian's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sandridge Cemetery in Narcisse, MB. (#7 North to Hwy 231, West 9 miles and turn South on Three Sisters Rd., go 2 miles and turn West and follow road to cemetery; if coming Hwy 17, turn East on Hwy 231 and go 5 miles and turn South at Three Sisters Rd, then the same as above. Lunch will follow at the Fraserwood Hall with the book of condolences to be signed there. Because Brian so loved his Rascal, Sunny and Ginter, in lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made in Brian's memory to any Humane Society or Animal Shelter. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.

I remember Brian as someone who could fix a car with a rubber band, loved humour, who could be vulnerable and would show a side to him to those he loved. I recall events when I was pregnant that showed he cared. He had a big heart. His Niece would have loved to have known him better. I'd tell her stories and she would laugh. He liked to make people laugh. Because of family affairs, she was not able to know him as well as she should have. I tell her that her Dad Darrell, her Uncle Brian and Grandfather Andrew watch over her too. May he rest in Peace and may God grant him eternal rest. - Posted by: Laurie Fleury and Brandy (Marchak) Fleury (Former Sister-in-Law and Niece) on: Dec 01, 2013

My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. For me Brian will live on in all of you, but especially Aunty Liz because like I told Brian when I last saw him "God do you ever look like your mother." Sending my love. Sherry - Posted by: Sherry Starr (Family) on: Nov 06, 2005
