THOMAS (TIMMY) HUGHES Tom passed away peacefully on September 24, 2005 in Angus, ON. He was born June 13, l923. He served three years in the RCNV overseas. Tom also received his 50 year membership as a Royal Arch Mason from the Rivers Manitoba Lodge. He also belonged to the Shriners with Remaeses division of Toronto. Tom was born in Transcona where he also was a member of the No. 7 Transcona Legion Branch. When his family moved to Ontario he was also a member of the CPGA at Borden Golf and Country Club. He had his pilot license. With this he did some commercial flying for a period of time. He enjoyed his flying and golfing making many friends throughout his life. Predeceased by his wife Bette and son Robert. He is survived by his daughter Gerri of Oshawa and by his brothers, Howard of Seattle, WA, Bill (Margaret), his sisters, Audrey Foot and Jackie Shaski all of Winnipeg. Many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will also miss him. A private family interment service for Tom, Bette and Robert will be held at Transcona Cemetery. Donations in memory of Tom can be made to a charity of one's choice. May they all Rest in Peace .
