STANLEY CARMAN JR. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanley Carman Jr. on the eve of October 31, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre. Stanley was predeceased by his parents, Nettie and Stanley Carman Sr. He has left his beautiful memory to his loving wife Rose, daughters, Marni (Graham and their daughter Laura) and Tammy (Jason), brother Gerry, sister Pat (Clyde) and many extended family members. Stan was born November 18, 1940, in Winnipeg, MB. He was employed at The Winnipeg Free Press from January 1959 to January 2001 where he met his Honeybun . Together they enjoyed 40 years of marriage until the time of his passing. His many hobbies included 10 pin bowling, reading, golf and crossword races with Rose. Stan's honesty and easy going personality made him an instant buddy with everyone that he met. There were many days when these buddies enjoyed his barbecuing creations (and Stan wouldn't have had it any other way!). When Stan wasn't relaxing by the pool with his family and friends, or in his sunroom having a drinki-poo , he enjoyed going out with Rose and the kids to various restaurants throughout the city. So much in fact, that he was often consulted by family and friends as to where the latest culinary hotspot was. Sincere thanks go out to the Angels on GH4, special friends, and to the people in our close knit neighbourhood. Cremation has taken place and a celebration Stashu style , will be held at the Princess Hotel, 202 Bond (1 block south of Regent), on Sunday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society. Wheeler Funeral Home in care of arrangements. 224-1525. * Special message to my Papa..... ARR-B-DAR!!! Love Laura.
