Fran is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years Don; son Frank and daughter-in-law Lisa; much loved grandson Quinn; sister Marjorie Lange; brother Don Staples (Gina); mother-in-law Anne Hrynchuk; many brother and sister in-laws as well as numerous special nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Fran was predeceased by her father William (1954), mother Kathleen (1975), and brother-in-law Ed Lange (1999). Fran was a loving, caring, thoughtful person, always there with a kind word and loving smile. Grandson Quinn was the joy of her life and held a very special place in her heart. He loved to play, joke, and tease his grandma, always with a twinkle in his eye. Fran was born and raised in the Archwood area-Deniset Street. Spending time together with the family be it camping, cottaging at Bissett, attending Frank's hockey games, or family get togethers on all special holidays meant the world to Fran. Fran became an active member of the Winakwa Community Club, serving many years on the Ladies Auxiliary where she spearheaded the publishing of the Winakwa cookbook. Fran spent many hours with the Archwood Seniors where she is an honorary member. If there was ever a need for a fundraiser, Fran was always the first to volunteer her time where she wholeheartedly became involved in the cause. Six years ago, Fran and Don moved to Lorette area to be closer to Frank, Lisa and Quinn. Here Fran enjoyed country living, spending many hours preserving and freezing the vegetables from her garden. Fran also enjoyed the Lorette Seniors' Group who showed kindness and friendship to her. Cremation has taken place.
