Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEDEON LAVALLEE Peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, with his family at his side, Gedeon Lavallee passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 76 years. Gedeon is survived by his wife Jeanne (nee Delorme); his sons, Guy (Carole), Andre (Debbie), Jacques and Hubert; his daughters, Jeannine (Dean Smith), Monique (Andre Bateman), Rita, Denise (Robert Arndt) and Angele (Barton Antonovitch); 10 grandchildren; his brothers, Harry, Aime, Edward and Alfred; his sisters, Elizabeth, Rosie, Emilda, Delores, Laura and Myrtle. He was predeceased by his father Paul; and by his mother Marie (nee Flamand); and by his brothers, James and Ben. Gedeon was born on January 31, 1929, in St. Ambroise. His family moved to Winnipeg in 1975. He enjoyed the outdoors, trapping, guiding, fishing and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was very involved in the Catholic church. The family extends their thanks to the medical staff of 3rd Floor South at the Grace Hospital for the excellent care given to Gedeon. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Albert Bouffard at the Sacre Coeur Roman Catholic Church, 421 Brandon Ave., on Saturday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. Private interment of Gedeon's cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Gedeon's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. Aunt Jeanne, Mom told me about Uncle Gedeon last night and I just wanted to let you know that our thoughts are with you. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him. Dear jeanne and Family, i am so sorry to hear about the demise of gedeon I just found out his evening. Jean I did call you as soon as I heard but there was no answer at home. Jodi and i send our condolences and you will be in our thoughts tomorrow. I will try and get a hold of you sometime next week.
