Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN WIEBE February 16, 1944 - November 2, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister Helen at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Steinbach. She is survived by brothers Abe (Sadie) Wiebe, George (Alyce) Wiebe, and Jake (Janet) Wiebe, sisters Anne (John) Wisniewski, and Kathy (Bill) Kozak, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother and father John and Anna Wiebe; her stepmother Anna; her brothers John and Henry Wiebe; her sister Mary; and two brothers and two sisters who died in infancy. Helen was retired from the Kindale Occupational Centre where she had worked for 30 years. She had been a resident at Rest Haven Nursing Home since June 1, 2005. Prior to that, she resided at the Vita Nursing Home for approx. five months. Funeral Service for Helen will be held at the Chortizer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover St., Steinbach at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service. We offer a special thanks to Liz Reimer who looked after Helen for so many years after her stepmother passed away. Special thankyou to Rest Haven staff who took such good care of her in her last few days. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made to Association for Community Living.
