EDITH MOFFAT (nee FRIGHT) It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother Edith Moffat on November 1, 2005. Edith was born on August 19, 1909 in Dover Kent, England. Mother was predeceased by her dear husband Jim and by her siblings. She is survived by her son Bruce (Edna) of Lethbridge, AB, her daughters, Marilyn (Lou) of Traverse Bay, Barbara Thompson (Bill) of Lasalle, ON, Heather Dallacosta of Kelowna, BC, and son Jim (Robbyn) of St. Vital; grandchildren, Karen Brodeur, Cheryl Pilek (Russ), Loralei Douglas (Murray), Jennifer Nugent (Jim), Laura Wilkie (Rob), Mia and Shane Dallacosta, John and Michael Keller, and Jason (Ashley) and Evan Moffat. Mother was also blessed with great-grandchildren Aidan Brodeur-Engstrom, Keenan and Owen Pilek, Cailin Douglas, Alexandra and Anna Nugent and Meaghan and Graeme Wilkie. A private family service will be held on November 5. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Concordia Place Care Centre for their dedication and care over the past several years.
